"I am writing to strongly discourage anyone from using Ken Graham and his son as their State Farm agents. This agency does not follow through, make needed and requested changes to polices, and fails to inform their customes of state farm and state policy program changes. We have had recurring and unacceptable issues with their office for a few years now and yet we have been patient to a fault with them.Waiting for them to 'do better' as they continually promised us to no avail. State Farm changed its policy and no longer had an 'away college program' AFTER I already established with Ken's son that that was what we were going to do with our daughter's vehicle when she was out of state in college and something that we initiated with this agency for her in August when she left for school. We were not informed that State Farm's 'away college program' was discontinued, so therefore while we THOUGHT we were covered, instead, it automatically switched to a storage plan where you can't drive it at all, and yet we were not informed of that! So my son and my husband were working on her car and would drive it around a little bit to make sure it was working well; something we would never have done if we had known it was on a garage policy. Once again, I am very very thankful to God that there were no accidents or tickets and that they weren't pulled over during that time. Furthermore, my daughter came home from college during Christmas break and since we were informed by Ken's son in AUGUST that she could drive it local no problem on the 'college away program' and she would still have full coverage and liability, she was driving around for 2 weeks before I got a notice from the DMV saying she didn't have coverage on her car! That notice is the only reason I knew to contact Ken Graham's agency and find out is what was going on. THAT'S how i discovered (in DECEMBER!) that her car had automatically been switched to a storage plan without our consent or knowledge. I cannot imagine the horror of a horrible accident that could have taken place without her being insured simply because Ken Graham's State Farm's officd didn't do their job and inform us of this policy discontinuation/ change! This latest situation follows a previous incident where our RAV4 was "accidentally" dropped from our policy for three months without our knowledge. While the office apologized profusely at the time, it does not change the fact that my husband was driving uninsured due to their negligence. The only way we found out is that we got a letter from our bank asking for proof of insurance, which we had already established when we purchased the car. Upon calling Ken Graham's office, we discovered the error and that somehow my husband's vehicle was dropped from our plan. Something that we never initiated, and they later admitted their error regarding this. We are very fortunate that no accidents or tickets occurred during that period. Each time I have called with issues regarding things like this, there has been major bewilderment on their end, saying they have no idea how this happened when literally it is their job to inform us of changes in policies. The way they handle their policies is absolutely outrageous. We put our trust in them to take care of us and to make sure that our family is safe on the road with coverage, and yet it is clear that Ken Graham's agency is not doing its job! If you have this State Farm agency, call and switch to a different agency as soon as you can for the safety of you and your family! If you don't have Ken Graham and are looking into him, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for coverage as we are doing."
